Fishing is good. Largmouth and smallmouth bass are biting on tubes, senkos, curly tail grubs and top water lures. For walleye and white bass use leeches, tubes, minnow and crank baits. 
Directions from Albuquerque:  Go east on I-40, Exit 300. Travel west on NM 129. Follow signs 32 miles northwest to the lake.
