Jemez River Fishing Report
About The Jemez River

Locals know the vast variety of locations to wet a line in the Jemez River. This river continually offers spectacular fishing in picturesque mountains. Spend the day fishing below the large cottonwoods taking in the wildlife that is frequently seen along the river. Don’t worry, if you aren’t a fly fisher the Jemez is a great river to bait fish in as well. Rainbow and Brown trout can be caught here year round.

How's Jemez Fishing?
June 24, 2017
The heat has affected the Jemez a little, slowing down the fishing. However, don't let that fool you the Jemez is still fishing well. Your best bets for success are using copper johns, worms, salmon eggs, and pheasant tails. All fishing access to the streams west of US HWY 4 remain open during the Cajete fire!
