Jemez River Fishing Report
About The Jemez River

Locals know the vast variety of locations to wet a line in the Jemez River. This river continually offers spectacular fishing in picturesque mountains. Spend the day fishing below the large cottonwoods taking in the wildlife that is frequently seen along the river. Don’t worry, if you aren’t a fly fisher the Jemez is a great river to bait fish in as well. Rainbow and Brown trout can be caught here year round.

How's Jemez Fishing?
August 8, 2017
Trout fishing throughout the Jemez remains fair. The Cebolla is good using salmon eggs, copper johns, parachute adams and elk hair caddis. The upper San Antonio is very good using hoppers, beetles, mosquitos, ants, and elk hair caddis.
