How's Navajo Fishing?
June 24, 2017
Fishing is good. For crappie use small jigs and minnows. Smallmouth and largemouth bass are hitting well using swim baits, sweet beavers, tubs, jigs and wooly buggers. For northern pike use minnows and crank baits. Your best bet for trout is using panther martins and powerbait. If trolling use kokanee killers, or double whammies.

Directions from Albuquerque: I-25 North to Cuba/Farmington exit at Bernalillo. Continue Northwest on NM 550 to Bloomfield, then go nine miles East on US 64 to Blanco. Turn North on NM 511 and follow signs to Navajo Dam.
